GoodShip's first year of collaboration agency work is outlined, showing how our focus on technology, creativity, and community engagement directly addresses several UN Sustainable Development Goals, from health and education to innovation and partnership.
At GoodShip*, our work isn't just about strategy, creativity, and technology; it's a voyage to drive real, positive change. We see ourselves as a collaboration agency focused on fostering innovation with a clear purpose. Over the past 12 months, our mission has been to connect people, ideas, and capital to make a lasting impact across various sectors.
This commitment to creating a better world naturally steers our work toward the UN’s blueprint for people and the planet: the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We might not use the official UN language every day, but our actions perfectly match up with these global aspirations.
Here’s how our work on the ground contributes to the Global Goals:
A healthy life is the foundation for everything. That's why we actively support initiatives that combat social isolation and loneliness, helping to create a vital sense of community. We also champion programmes that promote mental and physical wellbeing in communities and workplaces. Furthermore, our work with healthcare providers develops innovative solutions to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
We believe that knowledge and opportunity should be accessible to all.
Innovation is our engine. We are constantly building and implementing new systems and technologies (Development) to support organizational growth. We collaborate on creating new products and services (Product Innovation), like the event storytelling platform fableit, that are designed to have a positive social impact. We also raise awareness and provide guidance on the ethical and practical applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
We know that global change starts in our own backyard. Our community initiative,
KinShip, is dedicated to strengthening the local creative and tech community. KinShip events like" AI & Tech for Good" and "Supper Connections" are platforms for connection, learning, and collaboration, bringing diverse groups together to solve local challenges and foster a stronger ecosystem. We're proud to have engaged over 650 guests at 11 local venues, actively supporting our community.
As a collaboration agency, partnership is fundamental to who we are. Our model is based on working together, helping clients and partners achieve their strategic goals while driving positive change. Our success is built on the strength of these collaborations. We believe that by making collaboration happen, we can deliver forward-thinking creative, digital, and tech solutions.
This commitment to the Global Goals is part of our DNA. We recently discussed the urgent need for local businesses to embrace this work in our blog, "From Global Goals to Local Growth: Why Liverpool Businesses Must Step Up on the UN SDGs."
If you're a founder, a business, or an organisation with a vision to do something great, something that aligns with your purpose and the world's purpose, we want to hear from you. The United Nations has laid out the roadmap, but it's up to all of us to sail the ship.
What's your purpose? What change do you want to see?
Let's work together to scope the art of the possible and make some real goodship* happen.
